This, they are told, securely binds the man to them and prevents him from ever looking elsewhere for love.

Others are asked to buy a padlock, which is then treated and “locked” before being handed over to the “patient”. It symbolises that the man is bound.

Love may be elusive but this is just down low.

Dr Dre Son Found Dead

Dr Dre 20 years old son, Andre Young Jr. was found dead at his home in Woodland hills home. May he R.I.P.

Dr. Dre’s son has reportedly died, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner.

The body of Andre Young Jr. was found in his Woodland Hills home on Saturday morning, according to L.A. Weekly.  Andre Young Jr. was only 20.

Young went out on Friday night and came in about 5:30 A.M., but his mother found him unresponsive when she checked on him at 10 in the morning.

She called 911 immediately.

The cause of death will be revealed after a toxicology report.

Andre Young Sr., professionally known as Dr. Dre, released  a statement to AllHipHop.com on the death of his son, via a representative.

“Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr. Please respect his family’s grief and privacy at this time,” the rep told AllHipHop.com.

Dr. Dre is currently working on his final album, Detox.

Aaliyah 7th Year Anniversary

Today marks 7 years since the tragic death of Aaliyah. She died too young yet too talented in that plane crash. It has been seven years but it’s feel like it wasn’t that long ago especially when you play her tracks. Aaliyah music lives.

My absolute favorite tracks are Rock The Boat and One In A Million .  Also i like Rock The Boat video , knowing that it was the last video she made before dying.

RIP Aaliyah, your music will never be forgotten.

Let’s Talk : Global Warming

According to scientists, Arctic soil is sitting on a global warming time bomb. Due to climate changes, huge amounts of carbon dioxide from Arctic soils could be released into the atmosphere which could have a significant impact on Earth climate.

Climate change could release unexpectedly huge stores of carbon dioxide from Arctic soils, which would in turn fuel a vicious circle of global warming, a new study warned Sunday.

This is just a tip of the iceberg, when did you first hear about Global Warming or just the term Global Warming? Probably a long time ago when you and me were still kids. We have watched documentaries, read newspapers,articles and it clearly shows global warming is real but due to the ostrich syndrome we all tend to have, we stick our heads in the sand and hope it will all goes away. The bad news is that global warming is here with us. We are the cause of global warming from industrialization to pollution . I tend to think, we human are truly the WMD (Weapons Of Mass Destruction). We are destroying the planet earth little by little yet we have a chance of reversing this. Simple as 3R’s….Recycle, Reuse and Reduce….drive less,  find alternative energy resources, stop deforestation, conserve our eco-system etc etc

I believe me and you can save our planet for future generations to come. Just a question, how much are you doing to conserve our planet Earth or at least stop global warming? Do you believe global warming is real??

Da Brat Sentenced To 3 Years

Rap star Da Brat was sentenced to three years in prison,  with seven years probation and 200 hours of community service for striking a woman with a rum bottle at an Atlanta-area nightclub.

A Superior Court Judge ruled on Friday the hip-hop hit-maker - real name Shawntae Harris - will also serve seven years probation and 200 hours of community service for the incident in addition to her jail time. Harris, 34, was involved in the altercation at a Halloween party at Studio 72 nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia, on October 31st 2007.

The pair were reported by police to have gotten into an altercation prior to the assault - resulting in the victim’s hospitalization and permanent facial scarring. Harris entered a guilty plea to aggravated assault in the case.

According to reports, the rapper pleaded to her weeping family as she was led out of the courtroom, saying: “I love y’all.”

Harris was previously convicted in 2000 for misdemeanor reckless conduct.

The Glory Is Here

Halleluyah…the glory is here…can somebody somewhere say Amen…lol. Kenya finished in style in the Olympics with 5 golds, 5 silvers and 4 bronze medals to finish 4th in the Athletic medal standings and  15th in the Overall medal standing.

And to cap it all we won the marathon race on the closing day. Our very own Sammy Wanjiru went on to win the marathon race and set an Olympic record…What a kool way to finish the Olympics.

Kudos to our Kenyan team.

Big Brother Africa III Is Baaack

Big Brother Africa 3 is baack and wuuuu the contestants look fineee and real. BB3 premiered yesterday and i gotta say, Sheila the Kenyan representative is hot!!!.  She is 23 years old , wild and keeping it real 24/7.  This time all eyes are on her coz  if the other contestants don’t watch it, the prize money is hers. The only forminadable threat or compe is from Mimi the Ghanaian chiq and Towana the Botwasana chiq. Go gal that prize money is ours…lol.
